Suzuki Method in Israel

The Suzuki Method is not yet well known in Israel. However, there is great demand for this style of teaching, and many more students who want to begin violin lessons than trained teachers who have available space in their studios. There is a small but thriving Suzuki violin community in Jerusalem in the Conservatory of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, as well as a Suzuki-inspired program at the Luria Elementary School for Music and Dance, which serves as a place for familiarizing advanced violin majors of the Academy with the method.
